Television footage showed the plane crashed upside down in the wreckage of a burnt-out house as firefighters and rescue officials scoured the smoking ruins. At an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in New York on July 18, Vietnamese ambassador to the UN Le Hoai Trung said he had just learned that three unidentified passengers aboard the plane were from Vietnam. Rescue helicopters assemble near the site in the French Alps where an Airbus 320 operated by Lufthansa's Germanwings crashed. It's believed all 150 passengers and crew on board were killed.
