(TITC) - On October 6, 2014, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has released Decision No.32/2014/QĐ-UBND on establishment of the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City. The department separated from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, is a specialised agency under the city's People's Committee and assists the city's People's Committee in performing State management over tourism. The representatives of People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) said, in the early 5 months of 2016, the total of international tourists coming to this city reaches to 2.1 million visitors, rising 13.5 percent compared with the same period last year. CPV: The World Bank (WB) will to provide 50 million USD in credit to the Ho Chi Minh City Investment Fund for Urban Development (HIFU) to make investment in municipal and infrastructure projects from now until 2012.
