Nha Trang beach likely have more set space, rules for hotels

The government of Nha Trang will submit a proposal to the provincial authority regarding regulations on the provision of beachside umbrellas by hotels and the formation of public sports and recreational areas along the beach. According to Nguyen Sy Khanh, vice-chairman of the Nha Trang People’s Committee, the proposal prioritizes space, onshore and offshore, for tourists and locals. Nha Trang is the capital city of Khanh Hoa Province, located in south-central Vietnam. The four-kilometer-long seafront section stretching from the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee building to the Ana Mandara hotel will be refashioned, with only four- or five-star hotels permitted to place chairs and parasols here. The former are allowed 12 umbrellas and 24 chairs, whilst the latter 15 umbrellas and 30 chairs. Other hotels in the scope will be required to arrange such pieces of equipment in designated areas. Parasols and chairs must be uniform in design, color and pattern to ensure visual harmony; and hotels are required to daily remove the equipment after 5:00 pm. They will also be prohibited from marking their borders with flags. Like us on Facebook  or  follow us on Twitter  to get the latest news about Vietnam!
