She highlighted the CPI has remained steadfast in the Marxism-Leninism and continued to join the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and left-wing and other progressive forces in protecting rights and interests of the poor, ethnics, the working class and labourers in India.
The Chairwoman expressed her belief that under the leadership of General Secretary Sudhakar Reddy, the CPI will successfully realise the resolution of its 22nd congress and substantially help to build a peaceful, independent and progressive India with a deserving stature in the region and the world.
The CPV is working hard to carry out the resolution of its 12th national congress, she said, noting that aside from major accomplishments during 30 years of reforms, the CPV has also received many lessons and experience. It will press ahead with tackling difficulties and shortcomings and devising measures to clean up itself so as to ensure a pure and strong Party.
The NA leader told her host on the outcomes of her talks and meetings with India’s parliamentary leaders and Prime Minister, and expressed her delight at flourishing relations between the two countries, asking the CPI to continue supporting bilateral ties.
The relationship between the CPV and the CPI is close-knit connections based on fundamental principles of the Marxism and Leninism, as well as common targets and ideals. Their strong ties have continually boosted in recent years, Chairwoman Ngan noted.
Hailing the CPI’s support to the Indian Government’s policy of strengthening multifaceted links with Vietnam, she highlighted the two Parties’ recent delegation exchanges which helped enhance their relations.
For his part, Sudhakar Reddy lauded Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements, reiterating that the CPI, other political parties, and the Indian Government follow a consistent policy of boosting cooperation with Vietnam.
