In his speech at the award ceremony, Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Communication and Education Commission and the Central Steering Committee for External Information Service, highlighted the important role of the external information service.

“Efforts should be made to improve the service’s operation to fulfill its tasks entrusted by the Party and State, contributing to maintaining peace, and stability, and promoting international integration for national development. The service needs to be renovated in terms of contents and formats”.

The National External Information Service Awards was launched in 2014.

Of VOV’s total 10 award winners, “Story of Vietnam’s international integration” by the Voice of Vietnam World Service (VOV5) won the first prize.
