Sixteen art troupes representing 11 countries and international organisations have registered to participate in the biennial Festival Hue next year. The 2014 festival, themed “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development” will take place from April 12-20, 2014, according to the Festival Hue 2014’s organising board. It said several troupes even registered independently, including Poland’s OSD Nadarzyn orchestra, the Vietnam-Norway music exchange project’s SISU percussion ensemble, and Russia’s Raduga and Smile dance groups. Seven artists from the Vietnam’s National art troupe led by the People's Artist of Quang Tho performed in Canada from November 10-29. Their performances were held in many cities in Canada including Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and received great applause from overseas Vietnamese audiences.
