NDO/VNA - Vietnam welcomes the news of Cuba and the US opening their respective embassies in one another’s country, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh said at a regular press conference on July 23. NDO – Vietnam once again welcomed over 1 million international tourists this month, an increase of 5% over September, announced the General Statistics Office on October 29.According to the latest statistics, international tourist arrivals to Vietnam in October increased 24.7% from the same period last year. April was the fourth consecutive month when Vietnam received more than one million foreign visitors, up 6.5% over the previous month, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
