NDO – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented prizes to the 20 winners of the propaganda poster contest on the Vietnam APEC Year 2017, at an awards ceremony held in Hanoi, on November 3. South Korea has pledged to fund US$268 million for Vietnam this year, according to Park Dae Won, President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Park Dae Won arrived in Vietnam for his working visit from January 17 to 20 to work with the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment on bilateral cooperation via non-refundable aid projects. The KOICA said that grants by South Korea to Vietnam reached US$90.49 million between 1991 and 2008, or US$5.3 million on average annually.  In the first half last year, Vietnam became one of Korea's 10 largest export markets, Korea exported to Vietnam US$4.51 billion, up…... Southern Korea said that it wants to import more seafood products from Vietnam this year, according to the Vietnam Seafood Magazine.   Vietnam is listed among the five biggest seafood exporters to South Korea, including China, Russia, America and Japan, the magazine noted without giving the exact value of seafood imports from the Southeast Asian country.   Last year, the foreign country bought $2.96 billion worth of seafood products, down 13 per cent on-year.  However, Southern Korea did not disclose details of imports of seafood this year.
