12th Int’l culinary festival to be held in HCMC

International Gastronomy Arts will be introduced in the 2006 Food Festival by more than 20 well-known restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City at the Van Thanh tourist area from December 1-3. The event aims at displaying traditional culinary arts of 14 countries, including Vietnam, France, Japan, India, the Philippines and others. Especially, Vietnam’s new record spring roll (Goi Cuon), 5 centimeters in width, 100 meters in length, and 65 kilos in weight, will be made by 220 cooks of the Sai Gon Professional Cook Club in 30 minutes. Those who enjoy specific flavors of European food prepared by talented cooks from five-star hotels…... Vietnam – The Korea Culture and Culinary Festival 2013 is set to open in Hanoi on November 16 and 17, according to the Korean Embassy in Hanoi.  Various Korean enterprises will take part in the event, including Namyang Diary, Paldo Noodle, K-Mart, Star Korea, and others. A Vietnam-Korea cultural and culinary festival will be held in Hanoi from November 26-27 to promote cultural exchanges between the two nations.  The festival is one of the activities to mark the 19th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
