The 2030 Businessmen Club announces this year’s charity caravan trip that will go from Ha Noi to Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh and Ninh Binh from April 28 to May 2. — VNS The 2030 Businessmen Club has announced that this year’s charity caravan trip will travel 1,200km from Ha Noi to Ninh Binh through Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Quang Binh from April 28 to May 2. Along the route the organisers will present bicycles to 600 poor students and other gifts to 2,000 others in Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh. The total value of the gifts is estimated at VND2.9 billion. According to the organisers, the 13th edition of the event coincides with the commemoration of the 1,050th anniversary of the establishment of Dai Co Viet, the country’s first feudal state, by King Dinh Tien Hoang, real name Dinh Bo Linh. During the trip, participating businesspeople can learn about the history of the feudal dynasties in Viet Nam and Hoa Lu, the first capital of the country. The caravan trip, organised annually since 2005, is meant to bring joy to disadvantaged people and share their difficulties, especially underprivileged children in remote and border areas. — VNS
