The gifts are expected to help poor people overcomedifficulties to gain a better life.Meanwhile, the central province of Thua Thien Hue plans toorganise Tet programmes on January 27-28 and February 3-4 to support labourers.At these events, poor workers are offered a chance to buydiscounted products. The Danang People's Committee has decided to give its poor residents over VNĐ10bil. in cash and 800 tonnes of rice to help them to celebrate Tet (lunar New Year).
