Are university accreditation results credible?

Even though hundreds of students attained very high marks in Hanoi Medical University entrance exams, they still might not be accepted at the university.  Students took the university entrance exam 2013 To be able to get into university, students need high scores on the entrance exam. VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has kicked off a university accreditation process, but the criteria for quality assurance remain controversial. Under MOET’s plan, universities would be classified into three groups – research-oriented, application-oriented and practice-oriented schools. There will be five levels for the ranking. Two Vietnamese universities have refused to attend the Ministry of Education and Training’s education quality accreditation.According to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), 208 universities finished the education quality accreditation and were certified to ensure training quality criteria in 2017 by June 30 this year.However, Ton Duc Thang University in HCM City and Hanoi University of Business and Technology refused to attend the accreditation.
