Banquet held in celebration of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh presenting a gift to China’s side The event saw the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh; Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung; Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Duc Chung; Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, Lieutenant General Le Hien Van; and representatives from ministries and agencies nationwide. Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Chen Zhu and Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiao Yong also attended the event. At the event, Chinese Ambassador Hong Xiao Yong said that 2017 marked an important point in history of the Vietnam-China relations with many high-ranking visits of the two Parties and States. He also expressed his belief that the bilateral relations would reach new heights, reap more prolific results and bring practical benefits for the peoples of both countries. During the event, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed that the Vietnam’s side always treasures the friendly neighborliness and comprehensive cooperation with the Chinese Party, State and people.
