Among over 3,000 discharged servicemen this time, 198 were admitted to the Party and 515 received various awards. PANO - On August 21, Division 316 of Military Region 2 mobilized nearly 150 troops to help people in Yen Bai province overcome the consequences of Storm Dianmu, the 3rd storm having hit Vietnam so far this year. Chairwoman of the Yen Bai provincial People's Committee Pham Thi Thanh Tra said that the storm’downpour had flooded many streets and uprooted many trees in Yen Bai City, causing gridlock in several areas. PANO – Division 5 (Military Zone 7) and the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City on July 15th launched a mass mobilization movement in the districts of Duong Minh Chau, Chau Thanh, and Tan Chau of Tay Ninh province.
