Saigontourist Holding Company, the country’s leading tourism services provider, has put into service five new tourist boats and rolled out a variety of fresh river tours, which take in popular destinations in the city and neighboring provinces. Tan Cang-Thanh Da Binh Quoi Peninsula tour The boat will pick up tourists at 4 p.m. at Tan Cang tourist site. The tour is available on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and scheduled to finish at 8 p.m. Along the way visitors can admire the peaceful landscape of Thanh Da Peninsula, which is only eight kilometers from the city center but its atmosphere is different from the noisy city life in the downtown area. In addition, tourists will be brought to Binh Quoi Tourist Village where they can taste specialties of southern Vietnam and listen to don ca tai tu (southern folk music). Tickets are priced at VND750,000 per adult and VND560,000 for kids aged between three and 10, including a shuttle bus to and from hotels in the downtown area and dinner buffet ticket. Saigon Tourist Travel Company has just announced the opening of seven new river tours that will take tourists around Ho Chi Minh City via canals and rivers.
