Golf MIAMI — The US LPGA on Wednesday announced a 2018 schedule featuring 34 events in 14 countries and a record US$68.75 million in prize money. The schedule announced from the Tour’s headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida, features two new events on the US West Coast. Macau’s biggest junket operator Suncity Group plans to pour billions of dollars into building a resort in Vietnam's popular resort town of Hoi An, Bloomberg reported. The group has teamed up with Vietnam-based closed end fund VinaCapital and Hong Kong-based conglomerate Chow Tai Fook to build the $4 billion integrated resort and casino in the coastal town, which is scheduled to open in 2019. Suncity owns 34 percent of the coastal project through its Hong Kong-listed subsidiary and has a management contract to operate the casino. Miura selects coaching team The Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF) has invited Nguyen Thanh Son to be an assistant to national team manager Toshyia Miura. Son is acting coach of the V.League 1 champions Becamex Binh Duong.
