Honduras President Juan Orlando Hernandez The Honduras President made the statement at his swearing-in ceremony in the Tiburcio Carias Andino national stadium. Attending the event on Saturday, the Vietnamese President’s Special Envoy Ambassador to Mexico and Honduras Nguyen Hoai Duong sent President Tran Dai Quang’s congratulatory message to the Honduras President. President Hernandez thanked the Vietnamese President and people for their best wishes and said he hoped that the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened.

The chairman of the Czech House of Representatives, Miroslav Vlcek, made the statement during talks with the chairman of the Vietnam National Assembly, Nguyen Phu Trong, in Prague on April 27. He also suggested that the two countries cooperate in energy and energy security which are issues of top concern of the republic. PM John Key’s first visit to the Southeast Asian country since he took office in November 2008 is expected to help strengthen the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, especially at a time when Vietnam and New Zealand are celebrating the 35th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
