Japanese PM visits Baltic, Eastern European nations

Japanese PM Shinzo Abe (Source: Kyodo/VNA) It will be the first time for a Japanese Prime Minister to visit any of these countries. “I will widen the frontier of Japanese diplomacy while confirming our close coordination on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) issue and other pressing matters facing the international community,” PM Abe said at a meeting between the government and ruling coalition of his Liberal Democratic Party and the smaller Komeito Party. “I want to confirm our cooperation on DPRK and other urgent issues the international community faces,” he told reporters before he left.
