An inspection delegation from the Central Election Council (CEC) headed by National Assembly (NA) Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong inspected preparatory election work in Hanoi on April 18. Under a resolution recently passed by the National Assembly, the capital city of Hanoi has become bigger as of August 1, 2008, covering the existing area, Ha Tay province, four communes in Hoa Binh province and Me Linh district of Vinh Phuc province.
