Looking back at achievements in the second year of the 14th legislature, Ngan said the NA adopted 18 laws, gave feedback on 15 bills and held question-and-answer sessions on practical issues during its third and fourth sessions in 2017. The legislature discussed, considered and approved a number of important decisions and projects, including policies exerting huge impacts on the country’s socio-economic development, she said.The NA Chairwoman particularly highlighted the fact that the country fulfilled and overfulfilled all 13 socio-economic targets in 2017 with a GDP growth rate of 6.81 percent – a record high since 2011, which created momentum for 2018 and beyond. She said 2018 is a year to continue realising the Resolution adopted by the 12th National Party Congress and the NA’s programmes during its tenure.
