There will be four apartment blocks with 25 floors with a total of 900 condos with one to three bedrooms designed in European style, according to the developers. They will range in size from 52sq.m to 95sq.m. The prices would start at VND 2.5 billion (USD 109,000), it said. There will be 92 villas and houses with the former ranging from 160sq.m to 394sq.m and the latter from 107.2 sq.m to 298.4 sq.m. A downpour early Saturday evening turned multiple streets in Ho Chi Minh City into ‘rivers’ as local houses were unroofed by severe winds. A drove of vehicles suffered from engine failure in the waist-deep water, leading to traffic congestion on some outskirt roads. An opening ceremony of a new route from New Zealand’s Auckland to Ho Chi Minh City in Viet Nam was held on June 5 with the attendance of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dinh La Thang.
