At the reception General Minh, Deputy-Chief-of-the-General Staff confirmed that at the reception on January 26 at the headquarters of Ministry of National Defense for Admiral Naris Pratoomsuwan, Commander of the Thai Royal Navy, who is on a working visit to Vietnam. At the meeting, the Thai admiral said that his visit aims to boost the bilateral defense ties in general and the naval cooperation in particular, between the two countries. He took this chance to thank Vietnam for sending ship 012-Ly Thai To to participate in the International Fleet Review 2017 (IFR 2017) and the first ASEAN Multilateral Naval Exercise (AMNEX-1) hosted by Thailand last November on the occasion of ASEAN’s 50th founding anniversary. Emphasizing the development of their bilateral defense ties in recent years, Gen.
