The senior Vietnamese legislator made the statement during her talks with visiting Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, Miyegombo Enkhbold, which took place right after an official welcoming ceremony in Hanoi on January 22. NA Chairwoman Ngan spoke highly of Mongolia’s support and coordination with Vietnam at international forums, whilst stressing Vietnam’s support for Mongolia to become a member of the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum and to participate in the East Asia Summit (EAS). Vietnam is willing to serve as a connecting bridge between Mongolia and ASEAN member countries, as well as to share its experience in building and joining a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), she said. The NA leader asked Mongolia to consider the reception of Vietnamese labourers to work in Mongolia, calling for an active cooperation between the two sides in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests as well as creating favourable conditions for citizens living, studying and working in each other’s country.
