The adjustment must be pursuant to the law on land and suit the military’s.specific functions and duties. The progress of this mission must be reported to the central government in the second quarter of this year. The defense ministry, in cooperation with the government inspectorate, environment ministry, and provincial administrations, was tasked with supervising the use of land zoned for national defense. The prime minister directed that a crackdown be launched on those using and leasing military land for wrong purposes or against the law, and encroaching on such land. Those agencies in charge will be held accountable for letting such violations happen.
