Viettel Music Festival 2018 to open in Hanoi

The Fall Music Festival was kicked off at two outdoor stages at Vincom Towers on Ba Trieu Street and Hanoi Railway Station at 16pm with the performance of well-known artists including Duong Hoang Yen, Vu Ha Anh, To Minh Duc, Minh Quan Idol, Hoang Bach as well as the acoustic bands of Flamenco and Rhapsody Philharmonic. Monsoon Music Festival (MMF), Vietnam’s biggest music event, will now be celebrated annually as part of an ambitious plan to develop culture in the capital through 2020, with a vision to 2030.  Land – a young band consisting of nine students of the Berklee College of Music – will perform on the second day of the 2017 Monsoon Music Festival. The first student music festival was launched at the Hanoi University of Culture by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and MobiFone in Hanoi on November 30. This is a playground for Vietnam students and pupils both at home and abroad. Each organisation and individual will send their work, which lasts a maximum of 7 minutes, on the themes of homeland, country, school and the aspirations of youth.
