NDO - Hanoi’s main bus operator Transerco has launched two new bus routes, numbered 95 and 96, connecting the city centre with suburban districts in an effort to expand its public transport coverage to underserviced areas. Route 95 runs 28.4 kilometres every 20-30 minutes between Nam Thang Long Bus Terminal and Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 in Xuan Hoa town of Vinh Phuc province adjacent to Hanoi’s Soc Son district. The Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco), the major bus service operator in Hanoi, has been given the green light to open a high-class bus service running from the Hanoi Railway Station in downtown to the Noi Bai International Airport. It is expected to take about 55 minutes for the new number 86 service to complete its route from Hanoi Railway Station to the airport. The bus can accommodate about 80 passengers with 25 seats and lots of space for luggage. The service will start at 05:10 from the station and 06:30 from the airport, and run until 20:30 and 23:30, respectively.
