(Source: Jetstar Pacific) Hanoi (VNA) -Vietnam’s budget carrier Jetstar Pacific on February 1 put into service its automatic check-in kiosksystem at airport, allowing passengers to check-in within only 30 seconds.This isa modern check-in technology introduced by Jetstar Pacific following itsimplementation of a web check-in system. Accordingly, passengers just need to enter their reservation code, checkflight information, and print a boarding pass before proceeding to the securitygate. Nguyen Quoc Phuong, JestarPacfic CEO, said many passengersenthusiastically responded to the new system on the first day, stressing thatthe check-in kiosks help save time for passengers and reduce long-queues at theairport, especially during peak times around the Lunar New Year festival.The check-in kiosks have been installed at Tan Son Nhat International Airportin Ho Chi Minh City to meet passengers’ increasing travel demand during Tet.Jetstar Pacific has stepped up efforts to deploy the system at Noi BaiInternational Airport in Hanoi and Da Nang Airport in the coming time.Apart from the traditional check-in process, passengers can check-in atthe airline’s website at www.jetstar.com from two to 48 hours ahead of the departuretime or use Ipad check-in services over the wifi available at Tan Son Nhat, NoiBai and Da Nang airports.Jetstar Pacific now operates 29 domestic and nine international routes,connecting to Jetstar Group’s network to 82 destinations in 18 nations.To meet the increasing travel demand during Tet, the carrier planned torun nearly 3,000 flights, up 10 percent compared to its frequency.-VNA

Hanoi (VNA) – The low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific Airlines officially operated the Hanoi-Tuy Hoa route as its plane with 180 passengers on board landed at Tuy Hoa airport in the morning of December 16. The airline operates four flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday Jetstar Pacific, using A320 aircraft with 180 seats on the route .
