Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has agreed to support construction of the North-South Highway with investment of VNĐ55 trillion (US$2.4 billion) sourced from Government bonds during the 2016-2020 period. The highway will be constructed using a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model that is transparent and highly effective, the announcement said. The Government will also provide capital support for site clearance. YEN BAI (VNS)— A ceremony was held on Saturday in northern Yen Bai Province's Van Yen District to celebrate the completion of a major tunnel on the new Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway. The end of construction work means that now all four key components of the highway project have been finished.
