With Tet, Vietnam’s biggest holiday of the year, only a week away, many flower markets and flower fairs have been formed across Ho Chi Minh City. In District 6, flower shops can be easily found on four streets, 26, Le Tuan Mau, An Duong Vuong, and Hau Giang. A New Year fair is held at the district’s Binh Phu Park with several cultural and entertaining activities organized on a daily basis. In District 8, Binh Dong Quay on Tau Hu Canal is a go-to place for people seeking flowers for the Tet holiday. In District 7, people can purchase flowers by dropping by Tran Xuan Soan Street along the Te Canal, where dozens of boats bringing flowers from the Mekong Delta are docked.
