Storm Sanba to make landfall during Tet

According to the national meteorological agency, at 13.00 on February 13, storm Sanba was located at approximately 9.5 degrees north latitude and 125.0 degrees east latitude. The strongest winds near the centre of the system were measured at 60-75kph. It is forecast that over the next 24 hours, it will move north-northwest at a speed of 25km per hour. In the next 48-72 hours, the typhoon will continue to move in a north-northwestern direction, at 10-15kph toward the mainland, before weakening into a tropical depression. The Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control has sent a dispatch to relevant ministries, branches, and localities in response to Typhoon Sanba.
