Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific add flights for Tết

A corner of Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Photo VOH National carrier Vietnam Airlines and its subsidiary Jetstar Pacific have added seven flights, or 1,300 seats. This is to serve passengers travelling between HCM City and Ha Noi during rush hours before the Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays from February 12-14. A Vietnam Airlines flight will depart from Ha Noi at 2.50pm and a return flight will depart from HCM City at 6pm.

Meanwhile, Jetstar Pacific will operate a flight from HCM City to Ha Noi at 10.30am on February 13. From February 5-12, Vietnam Airlines has reported full booking on domestic flights, especially on the route between HCM City and Ha Noi, with 95-99 per cent of seats full. According to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, the total number of passengers arriving and departing through Tan Son Nhat International Airport during Tet holidays is estimated at more than four million passengers, an increase of 25 per cent compared to the same period last year. — VNS

Jetstar Pacific adds flights on HCMC-Thanh Hoa run Anh Quan By Anh Quan - The Saigon Times Daily HCMC – Jetstar Pacific has announced to add one more daily flight on HCMC-Thanh Hoa Province route from January 17 to meet increasing travel needs. Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific sell tickets for Tet holidays. The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget Jetstar Pacific on September 27 began selling air fares for domestic flights serving the Tet holiday (Lunar New Year), which falls in February, 2018. During January 31-March 2, 2018, Vietnam Airlines will offer 1.4 million seats on all domestic routes, up 127,700 seats (equivalent to 694 flights) from the same time last year.
