Vietnam Airlines transports apricot and peach blossoms for lunar New Year 2018

Each passenger will be permitted to carry one branch of apricot or peach blossoms, measuring a maximum 150x40x40cm, as a special “Luggage consignment service” on flights. They must register and confirm a space for their apricot or peach blossom at least three hours before departure time. Fees will vary from VND297,000 to VND473,000, including VAT, depending on the route. Apricot and peach blossom are among the traditional flowers and plants used by Vietnamese to decorate residences and offices during Tet, as symbols of warmth, wealth and good luck for the country’s biggest holiday.
